Basketball Clubs Unite for a Joint Tournament

Basketball in Oslo is taking a historic step forward. For the first time, several of the city's basketball clubs are joining forces to create a high-quality basketball tournament – a tournament that doesn't belong to just one club, but to the entire basketball community in the capital.

The fact that these clubs are choosing to stand together is of enormous significance. Basketball in Oslo has long deserved a tournament that brings the community together across club boundaries, and it is precisely this collaboration that makes it possible. When clubs pool their efforts into organizing the event, we create something far greater than any single club could achieve on its own.

Already, the basketball clubs Bislet, Centrum, Kjelsås, Stovner, Ullern, Vålerenga, and Årvoll have signed on as co-organizers – something we are incredibly proud of and grateful for. This broad support demonstrates that the willingness to collaborate is strong and that the clubs recognize the value of elevating basketball together. With so many clubs involved, we secure access to numerous excellent venues across the city, giving the tournament a scope and setting that truly reflects the breadth of Oslo's basketball community.

Together, we are building something important – not just for Oslo, but for Norwegian basketball as a whole. This is the basketball community in action.
